Christina M. Samala (known simply as Samala) started 18MR.org, a national digital project activating and organizing Asian Pacific America, last year after three years as The Story of Stuff Project’s Director of Online Strategy & Media. Samala is a Bay Area based, New York raised, first generation Filipina American dedicated to using her new media expertise for good and to connecting technology, creative and social change communities. She is an alumna of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton, Annenberg and Design schools with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Fine Arts Minor, and Concentrations in Marketing and Design.

B. Loewe has been organizing on various fronts for social justice since his older sister brought him into the movement at age 15.  Most recently, B. has served as the communications director for the National Day Laborer Organizing Network advocating for immigrant worker rights, fortifying a culture of resistance, and pushing hard on the campaign to say #Not1More deportation.
