We have developed the following policy to help maintain sustainability within The Center for Story-based Strategy and to accommodate for the unpredictable schedule shifts that are often common for social change leaders and organizers. We also regularly have people on our waiting lists and would like to open the opportunity for them to participate if you are unable to be there.
CSS must receive notice of your request to transfer or cancel registration by email (info@storybasedstrategy.org). If we do not receive a notice by the start of training, none of the fees will be refundable. Otherwise, the following policy applies.
Transferring to another session
Only one transfer is permitted, and must be fulfilled within one year of the original training. Your full tuition payment will be transferred to the new training date, plus a $20 transfer fee.
If you do not fulfill your enrollment within one year, your enrollment will be cancelled and your training fees will not be reimbursed.
If a family emergency or similar circumstance prevents your attendance, or if the transfer fee is prohibitive, please notify info@storybasedstrategy.org immediately. Each case will be handled individually.
Cancellations

1-2 weeks before the start date of a program | 25% of fees will be reimbursed |
At or after the start time of training | 0% of fees will be reimbursed |
This policy applies to Advanced Trainings, Public Trainings, and any other event held by CSS that requires payment.
CSS reserves the right to cancel a program at any time. If a training is cancelled, we will work with you to reschedule the training (without additional fees) or you will receive a full refund for tuition.
