It's an annual Center for Story-based Strategy tradition to create a list of the Top Social Justice Memes for the year!

Nominate your favorite memes of the year, today!

This list considers interventions used or created by our social movements to challenge the status quo as well as the mass memes shaping politics and pop culture. For us, memes aren’t just pictures with text that spread through social media. Memes are containers to spread meaning through story. They are symbols or practices and are transmitted through writing, speech, gestures, images, rituals, and phenomena. Capsules that contain and convey the meaning of a larger story.

Deadline for nomination is Saturday, November 30th.
