STP's Top Picks = Golden Globe Winners!
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GOLDEN GLOBE WINNING SHOWS & ACTORS WHO WORK TO
#CHANGETHESTORY!
Season 2, hosted by Felicia Perez, pulled together key women organizers, leaders, and communications experts to look at lessons from current television shows, and explore if in fact the stories being told are advancing a social justice narrative in the United States. At the conclusion of our 4 webisode series we listed The Best Scripted Television Stories of 2015, and we were happy to see that many from our list were also nominated for Golden Globes this year. But we are super thrilled to see some of our shows get some wins too!
Congratulations to this year's Golden Globes Winner Mr. Robot for TV Series, Drama. And also congrats to actors from both Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) and Empire (Taraji P. Henson) for their work on these amazing shows!
If you missed STP Season 2, check out our complete list and webisodes as we engaged in a Narrative Power Analysis of what current stories on television say about race, class, gender, sexual orientation, climate justice, labor organizing and the fight for social justice happening right before us everyday.
